OUR STORY
Landscape Concepts was founded in 2015 by two friends with a shared passion for landscaping and a combined lifetime of experience in the industry.
The story began with one of our founders, who spent many years working in landscaping throughout Northern Colorado. After gaining extensive experience in the field and seeing firsthand what customers valued most, he developed the vision for Landscape Concepts—a company built on quality work, dependable service, and genuine relationships with the people we serve.
That vision came to life when he partnered with our second founder, who brought years of landscaping experience and a background in running a family landscaping business of his own. Before moving to Colorado with his family, he owned and managed the family company in Iowa, gaining experience not only in the field but in leading a business, managing projects and crews, and building strong customer relationships.
While their paths and experiences were different, they had something important in common: they both knew the landscaping industry from the ground up. Before becoming business owners, both spent years doing the physical work for other landscaping companies. They learned the trade firsthand, developed a deep appreciation for quality craftsmanship, and understood the importance of hard work and doing a job right.
In 2015, those experiences came together in Landscape Concepts. What started as a partnership between two friends has grown into a landscaping company serving residential and commercial properties throughout Northern Colorado.
Our founders’ combined experience continues to shape the way we operate today. We believe quality work starts with people who know the industry, care about the details, and understand that every property and customer deserves personal attention.
More than a decade later, our commitment remains the same. We strive to build lasting relationships, provide dependable service, and take pride in every landscape we have the opportunity to work on. We’re proud to be a local company, proud of the experience behind our name, and proud to call Northern Colorado home.
